This page describes the privacy policy of the www.laperla.com site.
This information is provided in accordance with section 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 to those that access and navigate the pages of the site and use the options and services, regardless of whether products are purchased or not.

The information is prompted by Recommendation no. 2/2001 which the European Authorities for the protection of personal data, united in the Group established by sect. 29 of directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify several minimum requirements for collecting personal data online and in particular the methods, times and nature of the information that data controllers must provide for users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes of connection.
The information applies exclusively to this site and not to any other website that users may consult via links.

Data controller
The controller of the data collected via this site is La Perla Global Management S.r.l., with legal offices in Italy, via Tortona 35 – 20144 Milano (MI), registered in the Business Register, Tax code and VAT no. 08281450968.

Data processor
The data processor of the data collected via this site is:
- Filoblu, with legal offices in Italy, via Caltana 116/C, Caselle di S. Maria di Sala, 30030 Venezia, which stores the personal data collected via this site, and which has stipulated specific and appropriate contractual clauses for the safety of the data.

The voluntary or compulsory nature of supplying data
Supplying the personal data that are requested during the different situations of data collection may be necessary to fulfil the purposes identified in the specific information, or may be optional.
The necessary nature of supplying data is specified each time they are requested – with reference to the single pieces of information requested – at the time of each individual data collection, while the information is identified by a special character (*).
Refusal to supply the data identified as being necessary makes fulfilling the main purposes of specific collection impossible: for example, refusal could mean that completing the contract to purchase products, or supplying other services offered (for example: sending the La Perla Newsletter) is impossible.

Methods of processing
Personal data are mainly processed using automated tools and exclusively for the purposes indicated and the time strictly necessary for achieving the purposes for which they were collected.
Specific safety measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illegal or incorrect use of them and unauthorised access to them.

Rights of the data subject
The subjects to which the personal data refer have the right to obtain, at any time, confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist, to be informed of the content and source, to verify their precision or request updating, rectification and integration (sect. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).
In particular, they have the right to request:
- erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, as well as object, in any case, on legitimate grounds, to their processing;
- information on the source of personal data; the purposes and the methods of processing; the logic applied in the event of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments; the identification data concerning the data controller and the data processors; indication of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as, for example, data processors.
- the updating, rectification, integration of data;
- erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;
- certification to the effect that the operations mentioned above have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part:
a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;
b) to the processing of personal data, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
The rights listed above can be exercised by writing to: privacy@laperla.com

Types of data processed

Navigation data
The transmission of the personal data acquired by the computerised systems and software procedures that are used for the functioning of this website, during their normal processes, is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This is information that is not collected to be linked to identified subjects, but that by their very nature could, via processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by the users that connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) identity addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to make the request to the server, the dimension of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.
These data are used exclusively for the purpose of gathering anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to verify correct functioning and are cancelled immediately after processing. The data could be used to establish responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: with the exception of this eventuality, the data on web contacts are only kept for a brief period.

Data supplied voluntarily by the user
Email: the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site not only leads to the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to reply to requests, but also any other personal data included in the message.
Collection of personal data performed offline: in the event that personal data is collected offline (e.g.: paper forms), information on data processing is provided at the same time and the data subject’s consent is obtained (where necessary); this also applies in the event that collection is made on forms downloaded from this Internet site (the forms include information on specific processing).
Collection of personal data performed online: in regard to collection of data performed directly on this Internet site, the form for entering the data is provided with appropriate information on the processing of data, as well as, where necessary, suitable methods for expressing consent. In any case, this page can always be accessed to examine the full privacy policy.

Cookies
The characteristics of the www.laperla.com site make the use of cookies helpful (that is, small text files that websites use to store some information on the user’s computer).

The use of session cookies (which are not memorised permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identity information (made up of random numbers generated by the server) which are essential to allow the user to explore the site safely and efficiently.
The session cookies used in this site prevent having to use other computerised techniques which could be potentially detrimental to navigation confidentiality and do not allow for the acquisition of the user’s personal identification data.
The site uses automatic systems to collect the data not directly supplied by the user, such as permanent cookies. These do not contain comprehensible information but allow the user to be linked to the personal information left on the site. For example, cookies have been created that relate to the catalogue browsing functions, online product purchasing and the supply of services. The Internet browser allows the cookies to be cancelled after each session. The Internet browser contains instructions on how to perform these cancellation procedures. The user must accept these automatic procedures for collecting data and the use of cookies, to be able to use the site and its services, including the purchase of products. In the event that the user enables the procedure to cancel cookies, the full visualisation of some web pages or the supply of some services cannot be guaranteed, such as, for example, the memorisation and visualisation within the web pages of those products chosen during online purchasing processes.

Communication and distribution
Unless otherwise expressly indicated in the information provided regarding individual processing situations, the personal data collected will not be communicated to any third party or distributed in any way.
