Sixties fashion was not only euphoric and revolutionary, but it changed with the notion that elegance can be achieved through nonchalance. To express the carefree attitude of the decade, lightweight fabrics, lace, and chiffon are enlivened by bright pastels like mimosa yellow and sky blue. The idea of flower power is conveyed through patterns of roses and daisies, while the clean lines recall the sophisticated signature style of Jackie O., with a mix of bon ton and freshness. The swimwear collection is inspired by the energetic colors of Pop Art, the bold shapes inspired by the famous Mondrian dress, and Andy Warhol’s psychedelic flowers. Just as with the lingerie, the beachwear continues to follow the upbeat and euphoric attitudes of the 60’s.
